Bracket for Beat Saber FFA Tourney

Grand Final Map Pool

This map pool will get revealed after round 2.

Normal Match Flow

Matches are played with 4 players, featuring a large map pool consisting of 24 maps per 2 rounds;
5 accuracy maps, 7 balanced/midspeed maps, 5 tech maps, 5 speed maps and 2 extreme maps.

Every player gets to ban 1 map per match, the order is defined by seed; lowest bans first, highest bans last. Picks follow the same principle as banning where the lowest seed picks first and the highest picks last. A new map is picked after every round and not all at once.

Every player gets 1 replay per match, but we ask you to exclusively use them for things like lag or tracking loss to maintain the tourney's flow.

The total amount of maps played per match is 4. There is no 'max' amount of points a player can earn. Since the matches are played with 4 people instead of 2 like a traditional tourney, there is a unique point system shown below.

  1. 1st place — 5 points

  2. 2nd place — 3 points

  3. 3rd place — 2 points

  4. 4th place — 0 points

Every match will get its own scheduled time, make sure to be on time and enter the 'Waiting Room' voice channel inside the Discord server 5 minutes beforehand. You can check your scheduled matches in the 'Bracket and Schedule' tab on the top of this page.

If you are late, the tournament admins have the right to forfeit you.

Elimination of players

In this tourney style, players are eliminated when they are last place in the played round.

For example: If I finish 3rd out of the 4 players in a round, I am not eliminated. If I place 4th out of 4 players in a round, I am eliminated.

This goes on for the entire tourney. We expect to start with 16 players, then 12, 8, 4, 2 (1v1).

Grand Final Exceptions

On the grand final there is a regular point system; the person who wins a map gets 1 point.
This counts for the amount of maps played too, it will feature a best of 5 playstyle (first to get 3 points) with a smaller map pool; 2 accuracy maps, 3 balanced maps, 2 speed maps, 2 tech maps, 1 extreme map and a special tiebreaker.
